Drive-In Service

Drive-in service at Alexis Baptist Church at 10:15am on Sundays

Drive-in Service

🚗 + 📻 89.5 FM

With the coronavirus and social distancing continuing we're going to try something new. A drive-in service. Although we still are not able to gather in person we CAN gather together while staying in our cars.

ONLINE SERVICES WILL CONTINUE

We will continue to provide our online services but this will provide another way to see each other and worship and study God's word together.

HOW WILL THIS WORK?

When you arrive you will park your car where you can see well and then tune you Radio to 89.5 FM. This will allow you to hear the worship and the pastor as he gives his message. The service will last around 30 minutes so you won't have to worry about your battery.

We look forward to seeing you (in your car) this Sunday!

Drive-in guidelines

  • Please stay in your vehicle!

You can not get out and walk around or set up chairs to sit in outside of your vehicle. You can leave your vehicle running if you need to turn on the AC. As much as we would like to get out and greet one another we are not allowed to do so at this time.

  • Please leave enough space when you park.

We can not provide onsite parking directions so please leave enough space around you so other cars can park and have enough space to pull out when the service is over or if they need to leave early.

  • Parking in the field or along the entrance roads.

If it isn't raining or hasn't rained the night before you can park in the field or along the side of the roads leading to the church parking lot. A platform will be set up between the two trees in front of the church so you should be able to easily see the pastor.

  • NO Restrooms

The church will not be open so there are no restrooms available while on campus. If you need to go home early, we absolutely understand.

  • Picking Up Others NOT in your immediate family

Visitors are welcome and we encourage you to invite others to come but they must attend in their own vehicles. We don't recommend picking others up, even other friends or family members to ride with you due to the current health risks.

  • How to hear the service

We will be broadcasting the service over a low power FM signal on 89.5 FM. This only covers our campus so you can't hear us at home! You will probably need to tune to the station manually on your radio.

  • Weather - What if it's raining?

We will attempt to do this rain or shine. If it's raining everything will be on the front porch of the church.

  • Tithes & Giving

Weather permitting we will have offering bins at each exit for you to drop your tithe or offering into. You can still give online, by mail, or by dropping it off at the church office during the week.
