VBS 2024

Get ready for a week of adventure at Breaker Rock Beach where kids will learn that God's truth never changes! As they fly kites in the misty seaside air, explore tide pools, and spot orcas and sea lions, kids will be challenged to recognize the difference between the lies (or half-truths) of culture and God's unchanging truth.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

This list would be enormous if we shared all the reasons, so here are just a few:

• VBS is the single largest evangelistic event we hold all year. Children from all over the area, both churched and unchurched, will come, and we have the opportunity to both show them and tell them how much Jesus loves them.
• Because you’ll be at VBS, you’ll be able to have conversations with your own child about what happened that morning, what he or she learned, what game he or she played in rec, and more.
• You could serve in your own child’s class, getting to know his or her peers!
• When you invite neighbors to VBS, you’re able to assure them that you’ll be in the building if they need anything.

When you complete the volunteer registration, you’ll have the opportunity to tell us where and how you’re available to serve. If you have any questions about what a particular role will look like, we’ll be happy to help explain that so you can make an informed decision about your VBS role before making a commitment.
